Increasing Offsite Package Offering

K-Panels are pleased to annouce details of their offsite developments.

As a growing company K-Panels have responded to the needs of their customers and in 2008 will be increasing their offsite package offering. We have responded to the requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes where offsite manufacture is an important way of reducing site waste.

Our service now includes the full package of design, manufacture, supply and erection with the option of panelised elevations. This means that whole wall sections can be fitted together in the factory, using butterfly tables, importantly reducing time on site and site waste.

We realise the benefits to our customers of being able to place more work packages with one supplier, minimising sequencing issues. Expanding into new premises will open up new possibilities.

Our future plans include:

Integrating windows into our elevation systems or supplying them as part of our package to fit on site.
Factory fitted cladding such as timber or render board.
Pre-fitting the breathable membrane.
Working with in partnership with Hanson’s to explore options of factory fitting their brick slip “wonderwall” system.
Providing cassette flooring systems to be supplied with the SIP panels.

Alongside these developments we are also looking to increase our timber frame capabilities.

We realise that we need to reflect in our product offering the level of performance and requirements that the customer needs.
