Further details of the services we can provide from design through to completion are summarised below:

Design & Engineering

K-Panels Ltd provide a fully designed and structurally engineered building system, from your original design.

By working as part of your design team at the start of the process, the most cost effective Structural Insulated Panel solution can be achieved.

Once the basic design for the system has been developed we issue preliminary drawings for your approval. This is a very important part of the process which:

• Enables your structural engineer to appraise our solution and complete their structural calculations

• Allows your architect to understand how the system relates to other elements of the building

• Allows feedback and changes to be more easily absorbed into the drawings before the detailed production drawings are produced.

• Gives you the confidence that the system meets your needs in terms of space, functionality, quality and comfort

From your feedback, detailed production drawings are developed and issued for your final approval and we do not proceed to production until you are entirely satisfied with the design.

Supply

The Panels and Timbers for all elements of the Kingspan TEK Building System’s structural shell are fabricated off site by K-Panels at our factory in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire.

The complete TEK System

The complete building system is delivered to site in kit-form ready for erection and includes:

• Wall & Roof panels

• Engineered floor joists, decking and floor beams

• Roof purlins and structural supports

• All connectors and structural components

• A Set of Laminated Drawings for erectors

• Fixing kit including nails, foam and sealant

Erection & Full Build

K Panels are able offer Erection and Full Build services. Currently this is provided in partnership with Robert Woodhead Ltd who are approved erectors of the Kingspan TEK Building System and have extensive experience of Structural Insulated Panels and Timber Frame Construction. Timescales for Design & Delivery

A typical timescale from placing of your order to delivery of the complete system to your site is 10-14 weeks, although through discussion and teamwork we can almost always improve on this. Click here for a more detailed stage guide download.
